Ken is a retired Human Resources Senior Vice President who in addition to

My desire to put personal service back into travel planning prompted me to
enter the travel business in May 2003. The lack of personal attention and human
interaction can often lead to a stressful vacation. I wanted to provide my clients
with carefully planned, enjoyable vacations that were as stress-free as humanly

Chuck earned his Certified Travel Associate credential in 2007, shortly after
joining Ticket To Travel. Chuck began his career as a travel agent in 2006 and
hit the ground running by taking advantage of all the training opportunities
in the travel world. Chuck is a graduate of the College of Disney Knowledge,
a Wynn Las Vegas "Ambassador", a Commodore Agent with Princess Cruise
Line and Cunard Line, a Cayman Islands Dive and Nature Master Specialist, and
an Agent Associate with CLIA, the Cruise Lines International Association. Chuck
has a Bachelor's degree in Professional Aeronautics and has been a Flight Instructor
for more than 20 years. Early in his data processing career, Chuck wrote computer
programs in Scheduling and Reservations for World Airways.
Chuck became hooked on cruising early in 2007 when he spent 21 days onboard
Golden Princess in South America and Antarctica (see photo). He sees cruise ships
as vessels for the perfect vacation, especially for single travelers. Chuck has
visited the Hawaiian islands more than fifty times and traveled to many parts
of the world, including five continents.
Chuck has been a lifelong volunteer for charitable causes. The 2007 Labor
Day Telethon for Muscular Dystrophy is his 32nd time as Manager of the telephone
banks on the Bay Area broadcast. He has complete nine marathons raising money
for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and serves as Entertainment Director for
American Cancer Society's Relay for Life in Chuck's local area. He was a volunteer
church musician for over 20 years.

Meet Martha Powell. She has had a career filled with many exciting opportunities.
Her career in travel started back in the 1980’s as a full time travel
agent. Later, she joined forces with her husband, Keith, and they owned a cruise
only agency.

of bachelor’s degree and studied Theology to the doctorate level. At the

Patrick joined Ticket To Travel in 2006. He was a Geriatric Social Worker
for for over 15 years before working in the travel industry. While he was in
graduate school, he interned at Duke University Medical Center with Lisa Gwyther.
At the time, Ms. Gwyther, was one of the top Long Term Care Specialists in the
United States. Patrick contributed information to several published works and
then co-authored a book with Lisa in 1999.
For years, he presented at Alzheimer's Association Conferences, Caregiver
Support Groups, Retirement Communities, and Dementia-Related Disorders Research
Conferences until a friend asked him to coordinate a "small cruise for caregivers" and
offer lectures onboard. He coordinated these Caregiver Stress Management Cruises,
informally, for several years before deciding to combine his passion for travel
with his love of working with senior citizens.
He, now coordinates 2 Caregiver Stress Management Cruises each year and helps
make travel arrangements for older individuals who need minor medical assistance.

Since having two children, we made the decision that we would take two vacations
per year; one with the kids and one for us as a couple. Since then, we've traveled
to Miami, Las Vegas, New York, Charleston, Baton Rouge, Disneyland, Sea World,
Newport Beach, the Dominican Republic, and cruised the Mexican Riviera. As a
result, we have experience in planning many wonderful family vacations, as well
as the much needed "couple" get-a-ways.
Working full-time, we felt that we earned the right to enjoy our vacation
time. However, balancing two children and two professional careers, it was difficult
to find the time to take and plan an ideal vacation for us as a couple and as
a family. We experienced the frustration of spending hours searching for the "perfect" package
to suit all of our needs without spending our entire savings. Realizing that
we knew people in the same situation, we decided to use our experience and love
of travel to help others. With the help of our contacts and suppliers, we have
found the answer to efficient and affordable vacation planning, and would like
to pass this service on to you.
This is the foundation of our business. We want to take the work out of our
client’s vacation planning. We offer our clients VIP personal service by
assisting with all aspects of their family and group travel needs. We can arrange
any and all of their flight, hotel/resort, ground transportation needs or schedule
tours/activities during your vacation. In conjunction with our honeymoon planning,
we offer assistance with bridal registries that allow couples to register for
activities during their actual honeymoon (e.g. dinner for two, romantic excursions).
Our clients are typically:

interested in taking a cruise.

a destination wedding/honeymoon.

Kevin’s motto in life is “You only live once” so he has
never been one to turn away from a great adventure! His professional background
in wildlife conservation combined with a love for experiencing new lands and
cultures, and his adventurous spirit has taken him to many corners of the world
from South Africa to Alaska , Europe to the Caribbean , and many points in between.
His travels have ranged from the extremes of spending weeks on end in remote bush camps (don’t mind the grizzly bears) to deluxe tropical resorts. Joining Ticket to Travel in 2008, Kevin has launched a new career for himself with the hopes of helping others exercise their own adventurous spirit by seeing as much of the world as possible. He intends to specialize in group tours and adventure travel.

Industry for about 10 years. She has studied in Prague and Bratislava and earned
her PhD in European history of Middle Ages from Moscow State University as well
as an Associate Degree in Travel from Foothill College, Los Altos, California.

Elena Yasno has always been fascinated with crisscrossing our big blue planet.
Perhaps, it had to do with her early life in the USSR during the time when traveling
outside the country was virtually unthinkable. Perhaps, she caught the travel
bug during her odyssey from the green hills of Ukraine to the brownstone jungles
of Brooklyn and the crowded freeways of Los Angeles in 1977. Nevertheless, she
has always dreamed of visiting the far-away places.
In 2001 Elena and her husband sold their worldly possessions (the software
company, the house, cars, furniture, etc) and moved far away from the rat race,
also known as the “active business life”. Where did they go? Why
- Italy, of course!
They rented a beautiful apartment in Rome, enrolled the kids in the local
American school, and blanketed the Apennine Peninsula. Then, they crossed the
Alps and invaded the Western and Central Europe with the same vigor, as did the
Roman Legions 2000 years ago.
When Elena and her husband returned to LA in 2003, they joined Ticket To Travel
agency and its team of dedicated travel professionals. Three years later they
continue to enjoy being a part of the travel industry. They think of it as a “happy” business,
because every trip that they book brings people pleasure and happiness.
