Ken is a retired Human Resources Senior Vice President who in addition to
having direct responsibility for global meeting planning and rewards travel organizations,
has traveled extensively during the past 40 years. Carol is retired from Johnson & Johnson
where one of her responsibilities was taking care of international travel arrangements.
Fulfilling their passion for everything about travel, both took early retirement

My desire to put personal service back into travel planning prompted me to
enter the travel business in May 2003. The lack of personal attention and human
interaction can often lead to a stressful vacation. I wanted to provide my clients
with carefully planned, enjoyable vacations that were as stress-free as humanly
possible.
I have taken numerous cruises to the Caribbean, Bahamas, and Mexico. I have

Chuck earned his Certified Travel Associate credential in 2007, shortly after
joining Ticket To Travel. Chuck began his career as a travel agent in 2006 and
hit the ground running by taking advantage of all the training opportunities
in the travel world. Chuck is a graduate of the College of Disney Knowledge,
a Wynn Las Vegas "Ambassador", a Commodore Agent with Princess Cruise
Line and Cunard Line, a Cayman Islands Dive and Nature Master Specialist, and
an Agent Associate with CLIA, the Cruise Lines International Association. Chuck
has a Bachelor's degree in Professional Aeronautics and has been a Flight Instructor
for more than 20 years. Early in his data processing career, Chuck wrote computer
programs in Scheduling and Reservations for World Airways.
Chuck became hooked on cruising early in 2007 when he spent 21 days onboard
Golden Princess in South America and Antarctica (see photo). He sees cruise ships
as vessels for the perfect vacation, especially for single travelers. Chuck has
visited the Hawaiian islands more than fifty times and traveled to many parts
of the world, including five continents.
Chuck has been a lifelong volunteer for charitable causes. The 2007 Labor
Day Telethon for Muscular Dystrophy is his 32nd time as Manager of the telephone
banks on the Bay Area broadcast. He has complete nine marathons raising money
for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and serves as Entertainment Director for
American Cancer Society's Relay for Life in Chuck's local area. He was a volunteer
church musician for over 20 years.

Lauren Liebert joined Ticket to Travel in 2004 and specializes in honeymoons/destination

Inspired by her mother-in-law who has been a travel agent for over 25 years,

Meet Martha Powell. She has had a career filled with many exciting opportunities.
Her career in travel started back in the 1980’s as a full time travel
agent. Later, she joined forces with her husband, Keith, and they owned a cruise
only agency.
Martha has since worked with Keith full time arranging and coordinating Keith’s
engagements as a Keynote speaker. Together, they are also brokers for a barter
and trade organization.
Having a sincere love for the travel product, Martha stepped back into the
exciting world of travel by focusing on fundraising cruises for non-profits.
A cancer survivor and advocate for patients and families, Martha says “what
better way than to serve this community than to fund raise and benefit organizations
that serve people whose lives have been touched by cancer”
Meetings at sea include seminars aboard cruise ships that are of special interest
to these groups – for example, wellness, survivorship, creative outlets,
insurance, financial seminars, etc. With many exciting topics to offer her groups,
Martha intends on adding to the repertoire of session options and nonprofits
served.

As a young man, undeterred by the practical necessities of earning a living
or saving for retirement, this intrepid romantic studied Linguistics to the level
of bachelor’s degree and studied Theology to the doctorate level. At the
age of 18 he (involuntarily but permanently) adopted the sedentary position – long
before the majority of his peers. His studies, profession, and innate wanderlust
(Sagittarius) have put him in other compromising positions along multiple latitudes
and longitudes.
The terrain of Dr. Rains' professional career is variegated. Equal parts high
adventure and pilgrimage he has worked as a ranch hand, in social activism, in
higher education, as an author, in technology education and in travel.
Drawing on these experiences Scott contributes articles, photography, research
and advice in various online settings. He is an independent travel professional
and a member of the industry's professional association, the Outside Sales Support
Network (OSSN).

for Scotland 10 years ago and began her dream of becoming a destination specialist
and travel consultant (SCOTSMASTER) by studying with the Scottish Tourist Board.
Along her travel journey she added Ireland to the list of destination specialty areas and studied with the Irish Tourist Board to become a Shamrock Club Member. Ana joined Ticket To Travel in April 2008 in order to join with other travel consultant/agent specialists to expand product opportunities and options for her clients. Her goal is to make her clients dream vacations to Scotland and Ireland come true as well as being dedicated to providing her customers with excellent service and designing the best vacation that will fit their desires and budget. Ana has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and has been traveling for 40 years. Every time Ana sends a client on their dream vacation she feels like she is going with them.
Ana used to live in the Bay Area (Scotts Valley) and has transplanted to Colchester Connecticut with her husband Bo. Ana has added a new member to her family, Asta a Black, Female, Miniture Schnauzer. Ana has a daughter, son–in-law, three beautiful granddaughters, one grandson, and one grandpuppy Mini Schnauzer Lucy who live in Peoria AZ.
Ana has gained a plethora of travel experience on the East Coast. She has spent the last three years traveling through Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine, and New York. The weather on the East Coast is adventurous to say the least and the countryside is beautiful.

Sue Slater, along with her husband Larry, specializes in group and fundraising
group cruises for the visually impaired and disabled traveler.
Sue has brought her passion for travel and organizing trips to her career.
Being blind herself, Sue's ongoing mission is to make cruising accessible for
the blind a standard and not an exception. With her knowledge and understanding
of the travel industry and her own travel experience, she has the ability to
make sure cruising will be a fun and memorable experience for people with disabilities.
She and Larry have had extensive training through the Cruise Line Industry
Association (CLIA) and have completed the required certification to become Elite
Cruise Counselors. They are both Norwegian Cruise Line and Marriott Hotel Specialists
as well. In addition, they are involved with several other travel organizations
giving them opportunities to keep on top of what is current in the travel industry.
The Slater’s love of cruising has taken them on many ships to visit
many of the most beautiful ports and destinations in the world.
Sue’s other niche in the travel industry has included the planning of
honeymoons for hundreds of brides and grooms. Her wish for each couple is to

With a love for travel, a passion for service and experience booking “other peoples travel,” Nicholas comes to Ticket To travel with a background in the motion picture & television industry and a former Talent Agent. After many years in the business, Terry left the “glitz & glamour” of Hollywood to start the next chapter in his life, which has lead him to the travel industry.
“It’s really no different then being a movie agent; someone comes to you with a request and you’ve got to fulfill it the best you can.” Nick still cherishes the moment when one of his clients was doing four films in one year and he had to arrange travel and coordinates schedules so his client could bounce from New York, to Spain, to the Caribbean and Sweden. But because of his dedication to service and his enthusiasm for efficiency, Nick has been able to transition his efforts to the travel industry.
Nick comes to Ticket To travel with a “PhD in Disney,” and is looking forward to earning his ears as a graduate of Disney’s “College of Knowledge” program. As an annual pass holder to Disneyland for ten years straight and a member of Club 33, Terry and his girlfriend, Michele, visit the park at least five or six times a year. His experience and knowledge also spreads to the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, the Disney Cruise Line and Adventures By Disney.
Disney is not his only specialty, Nick knows “the Island life,” as an avid Jimmy Buffett admirer, he can assist travelers on the island get-away to the Caribbean, Hawaii and Mexico. Nick can also help book a destination Wedding and Honeymoon, as well as assisting any planning needs for a bachelor or bachelorette party…Vegas anyone?
Nick lives in Dublin, CA with his girlfriend Michele, their chihuahua Chi-Chi and beagle, Charlie. They take mini-vacations once a month and both are active in community service. Nick is a member of the Castro Valley Lions Club and a former Alameda County Consumer Affairs Commissioner.

Patrick joined Ticket To Travel in 2006. He was a Geriatric Social Worker
for for over 15 years before working in the travel industry. While he was in
graduate school, he interned at Duke University Medical Center with Lisa Gwyther.
At the time, Ms. Gwyther, was one of the top Long Term Care Specialists in the
United States. Patrick contributed information to several published works and
then co-authored a book with Lisa in 1999.
For years, he presented at Alzheimer's Association Conferences, Caregiver
Support Groups, Retirement Communities, and Dementia-Related Disorders Research
Conferences until a friend asked him to coordinate a "small cruise for caregivers" and
offer lectures onboard. He coordinated these Caregiver Stress Management Cruises,
informally, for several years before deciding to combine his passion for travel
with his love of working with senior citizens.
He, now coordinates 2 Caregiver Stress Management Cruises each year and helps
make travel arrangements for older individuals who need minor medical assistance.
In addition to these services for seniors, he helps coordinate other specialty
group tours, travel planning for multigenerational reunions, and "Soft Adventure
Travel Tours for Seniors”.

Before we started our family, we took the time and opportunity to travel
to some exotic locations. We have traveled to such destinations as Las Vegas,
New York, Seattle, San Diego, Portland, Chicago, the Hawaiian islands of Maui & Oahu,
Cabo San Lucas, Australia, Jamaica, and Laurie even spent a month traveling through
Europe!
Since having two children, we made the decision that we would take two vacations
per year; one with the kids and one for us as a couple. Since then, we've traveled
to Miami, Las Vegas, New York, Charleston, Baton Rouge, Disneyland, Sea World,
Newport Beach, the Dominican Republic, and cruised the Mexican Riviera. As a

time. However, balancing two children and two professional careers, it was difficult
